The desire is to\r\nhave a reliable source for healthy and\r\nquality Parent Stock chicks thru their\r\nown integrated system.<\/strong><\/em> <br><br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nIn the first phase technical visits of Lohmann experts were agreed in the field of\r\nGenetics, Management, Hatchery and Veterinary issues to assist the planning of the\r\nGrand Parent farm. After completion phase\r\ntwo started to include training, checking\r\nthe operations and providing recommendations. The final step was the inspection\r\nof the new established farms.<br><br>\r\n\r\nSDF is very well recognized by customers.\r\nThis April they organised a well prepared\r\ntwo days customer event hosting more\r\nthan 450 people including Parent Stock\r\nand Commercial chick producers, Government representatives and other officials.\r\nThe second day a seminar was organised with various presentations including the\r\never present topic of Avian Influenza, status and prevention. Javier Ram\u00edrez, General\r\nManager of Lohmann Tierzucht was\r\naddressing the audience by introducing\r\nLohmann Tierzucht and the Erich Wesjohann Group. Furthermore, after visiting\r\nthe GP and PS farms in Mianyang, he was\r\nglad to confirm the state of the art stand ard combined with a very strict and enforced bio security protection.<br><br>\r\n\r\nThe short history of Sun Daily Farms is even\r\nfor Chinese standards very impressive.\r\nThey started in 1999 in Mianyang with the\r\nfirst 1.8 million layer operation and a Parent\r\nStock operation for 300,000 chicks\r\nThe first expansion followed 6 years later\r\nin Jiangxi province adding 1.3 million layers and a second Parent Stock farm at Xiangyang\/Hubei province with additional\r\n100,000 PS. 2012 SDF was the first company to introduce branded eggs in China.\r\nThey are suppliers to supermarket chains\r\nand also to the food industry. The latest expansion was last year in Guangyuan with\r\n300,000 PS and a state of the art Grand Parent operation.<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\nToday SDF keeps totally 4.5 million layers\r\nand 1 million Parent Stock chicks in various\r\nprovinces. Within the next three years they\r\nwant to expand to 10 Million own layers\r\nand about 40,000 Lohmann Grand Parent chicks.<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nMichael B.
