Their breeding farm currently\r\nhas a housing capacity for 60,000 Lohmann LSL-Lite parent stocks in semi-controlled environment houses. Awaz Poultry\r\nFarm is currently located in the Sargodah\r\nDistrict, in the North of Punjab Pakistan.\r\nAwaz Poultry is part of the Awaz Group\r\nof Poultry. Mr. Zahid Rahim established it\r\nin 2009 and later on, in the year 2013, they\r\nstarted having business ties with Lohmann Tierzucht which is growing day\r\nby day due to the availability of very wellqualified and skilled staff.

\r\n\r\n\r\nAwaz Poultry is the pioneer breeding company in Pakistan where you can place and\r\ntrack your order online. They are well established in Information Technology with\r\na fully-qualified IT Department, Technical\r\nand Poultry Management Team. In the\r\nbreeding farming and hatchery facilities,\r\nthey use technical expertise, equipments\r\nand medications which are in accordance\r\nto International Poultry Standards (IPS).\r\nTheir future plans is the establishment of a\r\nnew hatchery and poultry breeding farms in\r\nsouthern Pakistan close to the Karachi area.

\r\n\r\nCountry Profile: Pakistan<\/strong>

\r\n\r\nPakistan is a major country in South Asia\r\nwith a total area of 796,096 km2\r\nthat is\r\nhome to 183 million people, making it\r\nthe sixth most populated country in the\r\nworld after China, India, the USA, Indonesia\r\nand Brazil. It has a population growth rate\r\nwhich is close to 2.5 % and an economic\r\ngrowth rate of 3.7 %.

\r\n\r\nThe increasing population and consumer\r\npurchasing power stimulates demand for\r\ninexpensive, high quality animal protein.\r\nEggs fulfill this demand perfectly although\r\nthe annual per capita consumption is 55\r\neggs. There are approximately 45 million\r\nlaying hens in Pakistan serving a market\r\nin which the demand for white eggs is at\r\nnearly 100 %.

\r\n\r\nEgg production in Pakistan is growing at\r\nan average rate of just over 5 % per year.\r\nThis means, the Pakistani egg industry is\r\none of the fastest growing in the world.\r\nThe egg industry in Pakistan is making a\r\ntremendous contribution to bridge the\r\ngap between the supply and demand of\r\nanimal protein. In addition, the poultry industry of Pakistan generates employment\r\nand provides a source of income to more\r\nthan 1.5 million people.\r\n

\r\n\r\nThe poultry industry in Pakistan has become more professional and upgraded in\r\nits quality and capacity with the introduction of cage-farming.\r\nIn order to improve domestic consumption and increased consumer awareness,\r\nthe Pakistani Poultry Association is promoting advertising campaigns and the\r\nbranding of eggs.

Samundri Chicks Pakistan<\/h2>
\r\nTo meet the varying needs of the Pakistani\r\negg industry, Samundri Chicks<\/strong> keeps\r\nparent stock flocks of Lohmann Tierzucht LSL-Lite and the new breed, Lohmann LSL-Converter. Through their efforts,\r\nSamundri Chicks has established a prominent and steadily increasing presence for\r\nLohmann layers in the Pakistani market.\r\nThe business started in the year 2002 with\r\nthe name \u201cSamundri Chicks\u201d, named after\r\nthe town where they are located which is\r\nnear Faisalabad in the centre of the Punjab\r\nProvince. Mr. Muhammad Anees and his\r\nbrothers run the family-owned business.\r\nSince 2005, Samundri Chicks has been a\r\nloyal customer of Lohmann Tierzucht.\r\nThey are the biggest parent stock layer\r\ncompany in Pakistan with a current capacity\r\nof about 100,000 parent stock hens which\r\nare housed with a brand new family cage\r\nsystem supplied by Kutlusan in Turkey. Today, the hatchery has a hatching capacity of 1.6 million chicks\/month. The breeder\r\nflocks are vaccinated against all diseases\r\nknown to poultry and regularly monitored\r\nby a monthly testing of immunity titers.

\r\n\r\nAfter the completion of the new family\r\ncage parent stock farm this year, the capacity will increase to 120,000. Next year,\r\nthe construction of a new hatchery with a capacity of 2.5 million chicks per month is\r\nscheduled. Furthermore, Samundri is planning on the construction of a commercial\r\nfeed mill with a capacity of 5,000 tons\/\r\nmonth as well as a Biogas Plant to meet the\r\nneeds of high energy demands.

Bahoo Chicks Pakistan <\/h2>

\r\n\r\nBahoo Chicks <\/strong>has invested in breeding\r\nfarms and hatchery facilities which feature\r\nthe latest technology. The breeding farm\r\ncurrently has a housing capacity for 80,000\r\nLohmann LSL-Lite parent stocks in semicontrolled environment houses.\r\nLocated in the poultry hub of Kamalia District Toba tek singh in southern Punjab, Pakistan, Bahoo Chicks is part of the Bahoo\r\nGroup of Poultry.

\r\nThe founder, Mr. Mohammad Sharif Malik,\r\nstarted his first commercial layer farm in\r\n1992. Today, it maintains its own one million commercial layers. The poultry breeding business was established in the year\r\n2000. Bahoo Chicks has been housing\r\nLohmann LSL parent stocks since 2004.

\r\nThe latter also has a well-deserved reputation as a commercial feed manufacturer\r\nfor broilers, layers and parent stock with a\r\ncapacity of 7,500 tons\/month. In addition, \r\nthey are also very big suppliers of grains to\r\nother commercial poultry feed mills.

\r\n\r\nBahoo plans the construction of a state\r\nof the art poultry breeding farm in Northern Punjab which is to house 50,000 parent stock layers and a new hatchery with\r\nthe capacity of 1.5 million chicks \/month.

\r\nFurthermore, they are currently considering expanding the capacity of the existing\r\npoultry feed mill.
