Arab poultry breeders Co., \u201cOMMAT\u201d,\r\nwith a market share of more than\r\n75 %, is the market leader in supplying the Kingdom of saudi Arabia, the\r\nGulf countries and Yemen with day-old layer\r\nchickens. The company, which was founded\r\nin 1990, is the exclusive partner and distributor of LOHMANN TIERZUCHT\u2019S <\/strong>breeds in the\r\nregion. The latter is reputed to be one of the\r\nlargest layer-type breeder complexes in the\r\nMiddle east. Aside from high quality and excellence in the production and distribution\r\nof poultry products, \u201cArab Poultry Breeders\r\nCo.\u201d sets a very high value on the training\r\nand education in excellent management\r\nfor both its employees and clients. In this\r\ncontext, a seminar known as the \u201cOMMAT\r\nSCHOOL\u201d<\/strong> is held regularly on an annual basis. This year, the 8th OMMAT SCHOOL<\/strong> took\r\nplace in the Meridien Hotel in Jeddah from\r\n24th to 27th of November 2014.

\r\nCustomers\r\nof the company and poultry men from all\r\nover saudi Arabia and other Arabian countries participated in this event. The seminar\r\nstarted with a speech by Mr. Hussein Bahri,\r\nthe founder and Chairman of the company\r\nand his son, Mr. Moyassar Bahri, the General\r\nManager of \u201cOMMAT\u201d<\/strong>. The program covered\r\nvarious recent topics in the poultry business\r\nsuch as veterinary issues, latest technology\r\non poultry equipment and housing, egg\r\nmarketing, flock management and economics. The speakers were chosen from different local and internationally well known\r\ncompanies all of whom made the \u201c8th OMMAT SCHOOL\u201d<\/strong> very informative. In addition to the lecture program, performing the\r\n\u201cUmra\u201d and a sport program were also provided for participants. The school was closed\r\nwith a speech by the Minister of Agriculture\r\nfor the Kingdom of saudi Arabia, Dr. Fahd\r\nbin Abdul Rahman Belghunaim. The participants and lectures were honored thereafter\r\nand photos were taken of the same. On the\r\nwhole, the 8th OMMAT SCHOOL<\/strong> was another\r\nsuccess story which was perfectly organized\r\nby Arab poultry breeders in every respect.
