From April 21st \u2013 24th 2016, the members of the board and the team at HasTavuk hosted more than 200 guests at\r\nthe conference center of BAIA OTEL\u00adLARA in Antalya. The participants included laying hen farmers, representatives of the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and other significant players in the Turkish layer industry.<\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Successful Start<\/h2>\r\nThe first day began with a welcoming speech by the General\r\nManager of HasTavuk, Mr. Sahin Aydemir and Mr. Javier Ram\u00edrez,\r\nManaging Director of LOHMANN TIERZUCHT.
\r\nAfter providing a brief overview of HasTavuk and its developments, Mr. Mujdat Sezer, a shareholder of the company, highlighted the fast development of the poultry market in Turkey during\r\nthe last years. The technical and marketing part of the program\r\nwas presented by the following:
\r\n1) Ekrem Temel Y\u00fccesan, Area Manager and Company Veterinarian at HasTavuk, described the \u201cDifferent Approaches for Healthy\r\nProduction\u201c, with special attention on the rearing period and\r\nbiosecurity measures.
\r\n2) Robert Pottg\u00fcter, Nutritionist at LOHMANN TIERZUCHT, gave\r\nrecommendations on \u201cHow to improve the profitability of layers when feed quality has been ensured\u201c.\r\n3) Dr. Schmutz Matthias, Geneticist at LOHMANN TIERZUCHT,\r\nhighlighted the \u201cRecent genetic advances and needs to be\r\ndone to get the best results from LOHMANN Layers\u201c.
\r\n4) Julian Madeley, IEC General Manager, presented the \u201cGlobal\r\nOpportunities and Challenges for the Egg Industry\u201c

Fantastic Conclusion<\/h2>\r\nClosing the event, both Mr. Sahin and Mr. M\u00fcjdat thanked their\r\ncustomers and partners for their loyalty and assured them about\r\nthe HasTavuk\u2019s determination to develop further with LOHMANN\r\nbreeds in order to better meet their needs. The event was rounded off with a fantastic gala dinner held in the beautiful gardens\r\nof the Baia Otel.
