Currently\r\nthey are the biggest parent stock layer\r\ncompany in Pakistan with a capacity of\r\nabout 140,000 parent stock hens which\r\nare housed in a brand-new family cage\r\nsystem supplied by Kutlusan Turkey.<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lohmann-breeders.com\/media\/2020\/07\/SAMUNDRI-CHICKS-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"80%\" class=\"imgcenter\" \/>\r\n<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>New state of the art, single stage\r\nhatchery<\/strong><br><br>\r\n\r\nTo expand the layer chicks business, Samundri\r\nChicks Pvt Ltd recently completed\r\nconstruction of a brand-new, state of the\r\nart, single stage hatchery in collaboration\r\nwith EMKA of Belgium. This facility has a\r\ncapacity of 2.5 million chicks per month\r\nand is located near the town of Samundri\r\nabout 20 km from the parent stock farms.<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lohmann-breeders.com\/media\/2020\/07\/SAMUNDRI-CHICKS-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"80%\" class=\"imgcenter\" \/>\r\n<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Inauguration ceremony<\/strong><br><br>\r\n\r\nThe hatchery inauguration ceremony was\r\nperformed by the chief guests Mr Javier\r\nRam\u00edrez, managing director of LOHMANN\r\nTIERZUCHT GmbH and Dr Muhammad\r\nSadiq, CEO of Sadiq Poultry Pvt Ltd in the\r\npresence of renowned farmers from the\r\nPakistani poultry industry. The ceremony\r\nwas followed by a seminar.<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lohmann-breeders.com\/media\/2020\/07\/SAMUNDRI-CHICKS-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"80%\" class=\"imgcenter\" \/>\r\n<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n<strong>Seminar<\/strong><br><br>\r\n\r\nAbout 150 progressive commercial layer\r\nfarmers and veterinarians from across the\r\nregion participated in the seminar. The\r\nwelcome address was delivered by Mr\r\nMuhammad Anees, director of Samundri\r\nChicks Pakistan Pvt Ltd. Mr Ron Eek, Regional\r\nSales Manager Asia Pacific, delivered a very\r\ninformative presentation about LOHMANN\r\nLSL parent stock performance.<br><br>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<blockquote>Mr Javier Ram\u00edrez thanked Samundri\r\nChicks Pvt Ltd and the audience on behalf\r\nof LOHMANN and later on he presented a\r\nsouvenir to the staff at Samundri Chicks as\r\na token of honour. The chief guest of the\r\nseminar was Dr Muhammad Sadiq, CEO\r\nof Sadiq Poultry Pvt Ltd. <br>The chief guest\r\nthanked Samundri Chicks Pakistan Pvt Ltd\r\nand LOHMANN TIERZUCHT GmbH Germany\r\nfor providing a unique opportunity\r\nto layer farmers to adopt a scientific approach\r\nin modern poultry farming. He also\r\nemphasised the need to educate people\r\nregarding the consumption of eggs per\r\ncapita as this can be a way to help eliminate\r\nhunger and poverty in the country.<\/blockquote>\r\n\r\n<br><br>\r\n\r\nThe vote of thanks was given by Dr\r\nShahid Iqbal, CEO of Samundri Chicks Pakistan\r\nPvt Ltd.
