YOUR ROLE

As Head of Technical Services, you will lead the global technical strategy, ensuring customers achieve optimal genetic performance, flock health, and production efficiency. You act as the central technical authority, aligning technical excellence with commercial objectives worldwide.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and implement the global technical services strategy aligned with business goals
  • Monitor field performance and translate insights into improvements
  • Serve as senior technical advisor to global customers and partners
  • Develop and deliver training programmes
  • Lead troubleshooting and performance optimisation initiatives
  • Manage and develop a global team of technical specialists
  • Align technical activities with commercial strategy
  • Support marketing and product development with technical expertise
  • Represent the company at international conferences and events

YOUR PROFILE

  • Advanced degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in poultry production, genetics, or technical services
  • International leadership experience
  • Strong expertise in layer production and management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally (40–60%)

Commercial Technical Manager (m/f/d) – Latin America

YOUR ROLE

To strengthen our international team, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated full-time Commercial Technical Manager (m/f/d) for Latin America. The successful candidate will support our customers and partners both technically and commercially.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support and consultancy to customers, distributors, and production partners across Latin America
  • Conduct technical services, technical analyses, performance evaluations, and optimization recommendations throughout the value chain (hatchery, rearing and production – parent stocks and commercial flocks)
  • Support the regional sales and technical team in customer projects, contract negotiations, and market strategies
  • Plan and deliver training sessions, workshops, seminars, and technical presentations
  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor developments, and customer needs
  • Collaborate closely with global teams in breeding, technical service, sales, and marketing
  • Represent Lohmann Breeders at international exhibitions, conferences, and customer events
  • Travel extensively within the Latin America region
  • Report directly to Regional Commercial Technical Manager Americas

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in agricultural sciences, animal sciences, veterinary medicine, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the poultry industry, ideally in parent stocks or layer production; veterinary medicine is an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of poultry management, nutrition, poultry health, rearing and egg production
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • High intercultural competence and enthusiasm for international collaboration
  • Fluent Spanish and English skills; Portuguese would be a strong advantage
  • Willingness to travel frequently
  • Independent, solution-oriented, and customer-focused working style
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a global team
