Chicks Temperature | Alternative Housing

Day old chicks are poikilothermic and are unable to regulate their own body temperatures, so they rely on the environment that we provide. Monitoring chicks’ body temperature from random spots and averaging them gives us a good idea whether they are doing well, or some adjustments must be made to the house temperature!
